Over 70 years, Italy has partnered with the Directorate General of Archaeology and Museums, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to restore key heritage sites in Swat Valley. With €2.4 million in investment, the collaboration has trained local workers, protected sacred Buddhist and Islamic sites, and established the region’s most advanced museum infrastructure.
